It may seem a waste of time to enter these contests, but it's not! I've won some wonderful toy and gift card prizes from competitions on Twitter and blogs. I even won third prize a couple weeks back in an Eden Cafe giveaway - and those always have over a thousand entries!

If you're worried about entering adult competitions when your family follows you on Twitter or Facebook, you can do what I did and make separate accounts. I use a different browser for my adult activities, which makes it easy to keep separate.
