Packaging
Seven to Midnight's packaging is a cardboard sleeve with a photo of the model, such as you might see hanging on a pegboard in a high street shop. Inside, the product is clipped to an inner bit of cardboard. The sleeve does not mention any leopard themed superpowers, but I was sure this was simply an oversight.
Quality
The fabric is a very fine, soft mesh with a leopard print. The camisole side seams are tightly serged on the inside, with a soft thread that isn't itchy. The upper neck opening and the bottom has a soft lace finish. The upper back and sides is finished with a black elastic binding that continues on to make the halter neck ties. It looks as if it will stay put nicely when swinging on vines in the jungle, while still allowing me to look hot.
The boy-short knickers are the same fabric as the camisole, with a slightly wider elastic binding around the top and a serged finish for the leg openings. There is a black cotton knit panel on the inside, which is open at both ends, so could have a bullet inserted inside. The knickers have seams on either side, as well as one in the crotch, with a serge finish. Though I found no flaws in the camisole, the knickers had several places where loose threads need to be snipped, which is a little disappointing. The Queen of the Jungle should not have to snip threads.
Fit
My measurements are borderline between One Size and One Size Queen in Seven to Midnight's sizing guide. I own another item in One Size which is a little snug, so I selected Queen for this one. The camisole is a comfortable fit, and could easily stretch larger. The knit fabric has a lot of give - definitely not something for holding in your tummy. The knickers, however, felt a bit on the large size for me. Not quite 'granny panty' size, but bigger than I would have preferred. My sizing advice for Seven to Midnight is that if you are borderline on sizes, like I am, go up for anything with particular shaping, such as bra cups, and down for items like this one that are simpler in design.
Sex Appeal
I love the way the camisole looks on me, especially the neckline. The halter shape is flattering on me and the leopard print is sexy. Though I wouldn't wear it out of the jungle as a top, I do intend to wear it with a multiway bra and let it peek out from under a button up shirt when I am in disguise as a mild-mannered office manager.
As for the knickers, though they are a bit larger than I would like, I still prefer them to the ubiquitous g-string that usually comes with sets like these, and I am always happy when I see lingerie sets offered with something other than butt floss. G-strings are really not appropriate for a superheroine's costume.
Unfortunately, though I felt ready to swing on vines and sexily fight crime as the Jungle Queen, I did not acquire any leopard themed superpowers. Neither the ability to see in the dark, nor retractable claws were attained when wearing this outfit.
Bottom Line
Even without superpowers, this is a flirty and comfortable little number, and makes me feel like a sexy savage She-Beast
Verdict: 4 out of 5 stars
