Sportsheets Slut Spanking Paddle

It should read 'wimp'

This product is a nice black leather, with two layers, stitched together at the handle and open at slapping surface. The handle has some sort of reinforcement inside to stiffen and thicken it a bit. The stitching is a little rough to the touch, and there were some loose threads that need to be clipped, though the stitching itself seems firm. A metal eyelet at the end of the handle makes it easy to hang. The loop is a bit small for most male hands, and it's a thin fabric strap. I'm going to find a black leather shoelace to replace it with, to make it nicer for my partner to use.
As other reviewers on Lovehoney have mentioned, the red colour is from a slip of paper between the two layers of leather. I might see if I can find some craft glue that is safe for leather and glue a piece of red fabric to the back surface to replace the paper.
The leather is very stiff and hard. I don't know if it would be softened up with regular use and being cared for with oil, but then if it was, it might not leave the imprint. I'm not sure.
The most disappointing thing to me is that the force required to make the imprint work is more than I can take. Yes, I'm a wimp!
On the whole, it's a nice little paddle for the price, and a fun addition to the collection.

Doc Johnson Waterproof Pleasure Massage Ball

Noisy!

I actually didn't purchase this for sex, but for muscle aches. Battery-powered vibes usually aren't strong enough for that, but it being round means it can be rolled over muscle knots too. Since it was on Deal of the Day, I went ahead and got two of them.
The vibrations are really strong, and it feels good as a massage tool. I can put it under my neck and lie on it while it's buzzing away and get a nice massage. Unfortunately, it's so loud, even on the lowest setting, that it soon has my ears buzzing. And that keeps me from using it for long.
I'm glad I got it, but I'm also glad I didn't pay full price for it.

Lelo Ina Luxury Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator

"Why would anyone pay ninety quid or more for a luxury vibe? After all, I've gotten some great Lovehoney products that were around a tenner. Sure, the expensive ones are pretty, but they can't be worth that much more."
That's what I used to think whenever I looked at the luxury vibe section of the Lovehoney site. But then I received a Lelo Ina in a grab bag and have been converted!

You get what you pay for.

Packaging
The Ina comes packaged beautifully and tastefully. The outer box is white with a photo of the product and no naked bodies to be seen. The inner box is a black presentation box made of heavy card, and meant to be reused. Mine came with one corner a little crushed, which may be why it made it into a grab bag - if so, I'm very grateful to whatever crushed the box! Inside, the product is displayed in a plastic and cardboard presentation sleeve that you can see on the video. Behind that is the charger, a lined satin storage bag, the instruction manual, and details of Lelo's one year and ten year warranties.

Warranties
If you spend a lot of money on a luxury vibrator, you want to feel sure that you aren't going to regret it. The Lelo range actually has three warranties!
First of all, there is the Lovehoney 365 day returns policy, for any reason. This would be applicable to anyone who purchased the product directly, though since I got it from a grab bag, I'm not eligible. I have used Lovehoney's returns policy in the past with other purchases, and can attest that it is extremely easy and quick. You can see a link at the bottom of the page for more information. Basically, you can try out the product and if it doesn't suit you, you can get a full refund, no matter what the reason.
Secondly, Lelo has a one year warranty that will replace your product at any time during that year if there is any fault in it. This is not as good as the Lovehoney warranty, since they will not replace it just because you didn't care for it. But if the product is faulty, and for whatever reason you prefer to deal directly with the manufacturer, you can use this warranty instead.
Thirdly, Lelo has a ten year warranty that says if the product fails during that time, you can return it and get 50% off a replacement Lelo product. This product is expected to last for ten years - that's just amazing! Now, remember those great £10 vibes I was talking about above? How many of those have I gone through in the past ten years? Dozens, I imagine. Now you can start to see why I think this vibe is worth the price!
To register your Lelo product and become eligible for the warranty, you simply go to their website, click on 'log in' then 'new customer'. They ask for your name and email address, and then you select a password. Then there's an option to register your product. You select the product from a drop down list, then enter the serial number, which is on the back of the one year warranty booklet. After this, any time you go back to the Lelo website and log in, you can see your product. Or if you're lucky enough to own several, your list of Lelo products. Next to each product is the link to click to claim on the warranty. I can't actually review the warranty process without having a faulty product, but it looks quite simple. Best of all, you don't have to give them a lot of personal information. You don't even have to give them your address unless you need to make a claim.
Design
If I had chosen this for myself, I would have gone for the orange or green. I love the idea of having some toys that aren't pink and purple! However, even the purple one is lovely. The coloured end is silicone, with a velvet-touch finish. The white end is shiny plastic. The silicon end is completely smooth with no seams or edges. The white end does have a noticeable seam where the front and back meet. It's not on the insertable bit, and it's such a minor thing that I'd never comment on it if it weren't for the high design standards of the rest of the product. The four buttons are a soft touch - probably silicone again. The charger bit at the bottom is also covered by a little silicone plug, making this splashproof, but not submersible.
My favourite thing about the design is the sophistication - no animal shapes or penis heads or smiley faces. I do not want my toys looking back at me! The Lelo Ina is beautiful and sexy without being cutesy.
Shape
I need to give special attention to this. As Queen Mab's review mentions, the shape is just not going to fit everyone. The clitoral stimulator and the main shaft don't have much gap between them. There is some flexibility there at the base of the clitoral stem, but not enough to really make it work if you're the wrong shape. Given the cost, I wouldn't recommend this as a first vibe. Try out some cheap and cheerful rabbit style vibes and learn a bit about how you're put together, and you should get an idea whether this style is likely to suit you.
For me, I have never had much luck with rabbit style vibes, and this one is no exception. I was only able to insert it by pulling the clitoral stem back as far as it would go, and then when I released it, it didn't reach my clit at all and sort of pinched. Since Imalia's review mentions that it loosens up a bit over time, I wedged something between the two bits to try and see if it that will speed up the process.
Performance
Since the shape doesn't work for me as an internal vibe, I used it externally too much satisfaction. The pulse pattern is controlled separately from the intensity, which multiplies the options available. And the strongest setting is very strong!
I didn't realize how much difference it would make being rechargeable. It means never having to think about batteries. It goes for four hours on a charge, so I can take my time and have a nice long session. It also means the vibrations are much stronger. I can actually use this for relieving sore muscles, which is something a battery powered vibe just can't manage.
Despite being strong, the vibrations are very quiet. I don't know how that's managed. I guess it's just the superior build quality that you get from a high end toy.
The only real quibble I have quality wise is the controls. If you have a setting you really like, it's easy to hit one of the buttons and move it to something different. Though there is a setting to lock it and prevent it being turned on by accident, I don't believe there's a setting for 'lock this setting in place and vibrate here until I tell you to stop.'
Why would anyone spend £90 on a vibrator?
I always wondered that before, but no longer. This product is far superior to the 'cheap and cheerful' variety of vibrators. When you look at how long this vibe is guaranteed to last, you can easily see that you'll spend more than £90 in replacement vibes and replacement batteries for them in that time period. And the luxury quality and designer build provides such a great experience. You might spend that for a romantic night at a hotel or dinner for two at a high-end restaurant. Is it really so profligate to spend this much on something that will bring you pleasure again and again for years?
Despite this toy not being quite right for me, I am now a luxury toy convert, and intend to save up for another Lelo vibe.
Final Thoughts
Unless you feel confident about the shape working for you, I can't give an unqualified recommendation of the Ina, but the Lelo brand I can recommend without reservations. Lovehoney's product videos and customer reviews mean that you'll have plenty of information before you buy, and the returns policy means you can't lose. If you are hesitating about whether a luxury toy is worth it, take the plunge. They really are worth the price.

Ki-Wi Light-Up Silicone Luxury Vibrator

It's always nice when a toy comes in nice packaging that doesn't have tacky photos on it. The Ki-Wi comes in a quality box with a satin lining. Though as you can see from the photo, the toy protrudes above the top surface of the box, which makes it less useful for storage than it would be if it had a solid top.
Return to sender
The controls were easy to use, with two push-buttons to take you up and down through the different vibrations. Some reviewers have said that there isn't an off button, but there actually is. If you hold one of the buttons down for 2 seconds, the toy turns off without having to scroll through to the end of the set.
The tip is very flexible, like the ears of a rabbit vibe. The rounded end is a hard smooth plastic, rather than silicone, and has a nice heavy feel to it. The shape makes it easy to use hands-free. If you lay on your back with legs together, you can just pop it in place with the pointy end down, and it will tickle the clit area nicely.
Unfortunately, the main problem with this vibe is the weak vibrations. Only 2 AA batteries, with a somewhat heavy base to shake about and a light bulb to power - it just really isn't enough. The lighted end of the toy didn't really do anything for me as I used it solo and, at this time of the year, under the covers.
If light, tickly stimulation does it for you, then this might be a good choice for you. But I'll be taking advantage of LoveHoney's extremely generous returns policy and sending this one back.

Seven Til Midnight 3-Piece Fantasy Maid Uniform Set

Does Sir require any special service?

For a cheap and cheerful one-size costume, the quality is pretty good. Not couture by any means, but the lace is soft and not itchy, the bra straps are adjustable, and the mesh ruffle has a nice serged finish that helps it hold its shape. The little cap is just adorable. The g-string... well, I've never been a fan of butt-floss, even back in the days when my ass was as small as that of the pretty blonde model on the top of the page! I considered replacing it with a pair of boy-short knickers, but decided the costume works best with no panties at all.
My only complaint is the sizing. I wear a size 14-16, B cup, and I found the bra part rather snug. The cup was a bit too small and after letting out the straps as far as they would go, the back strap still rode up too high. My measurements are just at the upper end of the 'one size' range, so I'd say this should probably be for a size 12-14 or smaller, and definitely not for the well-endowed ladies.
Of course, one doesn't require a fun little costume to provide actual bust support, so I still expect to get a lot of use out of this. I can't wait to see my partner's reaction when I surprise him with this.

Seven Til Midnight Fishnet Tights

My legs are not this long or skinny.

I'd never tried fishnet tights before, so wasn't sure what to expect. These came in a cardboard sleeve with a picture of the model on the front. They're somewhat sturdier than sheer tights, so they're unlikely to tear as easily. Of course you still need to be careful getting them on.
These are full length tights, with seams at each toe and a seam at the crotch that's almost invisible. There's no gusset or cotton lining for the crotch - it's all fishnet. The waistband is black elastic, about an inch wide. It loses some sexiness points for being full tights instead of suspender or crotchless, but then again, these are cheap enough that your lover can always tear them for extra fun!
As I started to put them on, I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough to fit, but when I got them to the top, there was still a little room to spare. Though not much! I'm right at the upper end of the measurements for Seven to Midnight's One Size, and 5'3" in height. Someone with my measurements but taller would probably be happier with the One Size Queen.
It felt a bit itchy to me, but only a bit. I have sensitive skin, so this may not be a problem for others. And it's possible it will get softer after a wash.
However, the biggest problem for me is that I have a dog with light coloured fur, and within minutes of trying these on, I had dog hair clinging to my legs all over. The fishnet styling seems to be a dog hair magnet, and it was definitely NOT a sexy look after that.
I'll stick with sheer tights in future, but the product itself is certainly good value for money for fans of fishnet.

BASIC Sex Toys Wickedly Powerful Orgasmic Love Egg

Hundreds of orgasms served.

I love eggs, especially when you can dial the vibrations up and down as you choose instead of clicking through different settings. It gives an extra level of control, which I enjoy.
The downside to eggs vs rocket style vibes is that unless you are wedging it in place somehow, you have to hold the egg and end up vibrating your hand. But eggs get the advantage with stronger vibrations over all, at least when the batteries are in a separate compartment. Of course if you slip this inside, while using a rocket on the clit, even better!
The unit is very plain. I'm not a huge fan of garish colours for vibes, but I don't think this yellowish-white is an improvement. It's sort of reminiscent of computer cases of the mid-90s. I'd also like it better if it were in a smooth coated plastic instead of the hard plastic. Other requests? An actual off button. I know - I should be taking the batteries out after every use, but is there anyone who sticks to that faithfully? At least with an off button I wouldn't have to worry about it getting accidentally turned on in the naughty drawer when I forgot.
On the whole though, this is an excellent vibe for the money. It's a good starting point for someone who is using a vibe or an egg for the first time, or a good cheap and cheerful treat for yourself when you only have a few quid to spend.

Clitoriffic Waterproof Clitoral Vibrator

It's not pink!

I chose this because of the shape, which was one I hadn't tried before. Another factor was being able to get it in blue, instead of the ever ubiquitous pink and purple. It's nice to have something a bit different.
After I received it, one thing I immediately liked was the battery case, which holds the two AAAs and slides completely out of the vibe. This makes it easy to remove the batteries for storage without the fuss of wondering which toy they were supposed to go in or the risk of having different sets of batteries, with differing charges remaining, get mixed by accident.
I enjoyed the shape of the head. The little cupped area is nice to place on the clit, but it's also enjoyable turning it over and using the bulgy end, or using the edge for focused vibrations. But my favourite use of it is to use it internally as a G-spot vibe. It feels so good like that!
I would like it better if it had a smooth coated ABS plastic finish instead of a hard finish. I like the feel of coated plastic better, and I think it would have held up better to continued use. The blue finish has chipped in a few places.
The vibrations are strong for a pair of AAA batteries, at least while the batteries are fresh, but I find I keep the fading batteries in a lot longer before giving up on them than I usually do with vibes. I think because the shape is great and still enjoyable on a low vibe.
Overall, this is a great vibe - good value for money, and probably is the number two choice in my naughty drawer (after the excellent LoveHoney Erotic Rocket 2.0) for solo play. Love it!

BASIC Sex Toys Love Bullet Vibrator

Not insertable - learn from my fail.

Okay, you know how it says RIGHT THERE on the page that it's not waterproof? And that it mentions nothing about being insertable? That's because it isn't! Let's just say that trying to remove something small and slippery and vibrating afterwards was not particularly fun!
When limited to external fun, this is a great vibe. I love the texture, which is smooth without being hard. The colour is a nice soft pink, which I like better than the more garish colours that are so often seen. It's not the most powerful vibe, but packs a lot of punch in such a small package. Easy to use, and the price is right. I think I got it in the sale as a freebie, but even at full price, I'd consider it great value for money.
Just don't make my mistake. If you want an insertable vibe, there are plenty of more suitable choices available!

Lovehoney SQWERTY Sex Toy Cleaner Spray 115ml

Scrub a dub.

Years ago, I had bought a sex toy cleaner that had a really awful chemically smell. I threw it out and stuck with soap and water from then on out, and for some reason it never occurred to me that there were better products out there.
But then I got this free with another order, and it's absolutely brilliant. It has almost no scent at all, and it's so easy to use. I knew it would kill germs, but it also does a great job at the actual cleaning part. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has put a toy aside after a play session and gone to sleep, only to realize in the morning that some remains of the event have dried in place. After squirting the toy with the SQWERTY cleaner and leaving in place for 30 seconds, it wipes clean with no problems. Even the little corners around the metal nubs of a rocket style vibe are easy to clean with this stuff.
I don't expect to run out any time soon, but when I do, I will definitely be replacing the bottle. I now consider this a must have product for the naughty drawer of my nightstand.
