This is my first glass toy. I remember the first time I saw them for sale years ago, when they were really expensive. Now they're quite affordable, with so many different shapes and sizes, but somehow I had never gotten around to choosing one for myself.

The packaging was a bit cheap-looking - just a shaped clear plastic bit over a cardboard backing. I would recommend getting a fabric bag of some sort for storage. I know they say it's ultra durable, but I seem to have a mental block against letting something made of glass knock round in my nightstand drawer. Luckily I found a pretty beaded clutch bag in a charity shop today that was just the right size.
The build quality is amazing - I can't find a seam on it anywhere. The colour is perfectly clear. The size is a little daunting. If I put both hands around it, the head still peeps out from my top fist a bit. It's about the size of an actual penis, though with a stylized shape and exaggerated head. I couldn't help being a bit worried about the size of the head, because unlike the real thing, there isn't any 'give'. This definitely isn't something that I can slip in at the start of play. I need to already be aroused and use some lube for it to fit.
When I finally got it in, I understood why girls love glass. The smooth finish is so much more slippery than any of the various forms of plastic (or even flesh, for that matter!), which makes it very easy to use. I loved the shape, mostly using it with the curve point towards me, and the little flared base at the end was easy for me to hold onto to use for manipulation.
It feels great moving around inside. The bulb end felt amazing on my G-spot, and it was so easy to thrust or twist and move it around inside me. I also used my favourite vibe - the LoveHoney Erotic Rocket 2.0 at the same time, and when I placed the vibe on the glass it transmitted the vibrations very nicely, though of course it's not going to be as strong as using an insertable vibrator.
I can already tell this is going to be a favourite, and I'm definitely going to be trying out more glass toys in the future. Highly recommended!
Verdict: 5 out of 5 stars
