Knight Pacifier Smooth Glass Dildo

This is my first glass toy. I remember the first time I saw them for sale years ago, when they were really expensive. Now they're quite affordable, with so many different shapes and sizes, but somehow I had never gotten around to choosing one for myself.
Rocks my world.
The packaging was a bit cheap-looking - just a shaped clear plastic bit over a cardboard backing. I would recommend getting a fabric bag of some sort for storage. I know they say it's ultra durable, but I seem to have a mental block against letting something made of glass knock round in my nightstand drawer. Luckily I found a pretty beaded clutch bag in a charity shop today that was just the right size.
The build quality is amazing - I can't find a seam on it anywhere. The colour is perfectly clear. The size is a little daunting. If I put both hands around it, the head still peeps out from my top fist a bit. It's about the size of an actual penis, though with a stylized shape and exaggerated head. I couldn't help being a bit worried about the size of the head, because unlike the real thing, there isn't any 'give'. This definitely isn't something that I can slip in at the start of play. I need to already be aroused and use some lube for it to fit.
When I finally got it in, I understood why girls love glass. The smooth finish is so much more slippery than any of the various forms of plastic (or even flesh, for that matter!), which makes it very easy to use. I loved the shape, mostly using it with the curve point towards me, and the little flared base at the end was easy for me to hold onto to use for manipulation.
It feels great moving around inside. The bulb end felt amazing on my G-spot, and it was so easy to thrust or twist and move it around inside me. I also used my favourite vibe - the LoveHoney Erotic Rocket 2.0 at the same time, and when I placed the vibe on the glass it transmitted the vibrations very nicely, though of course it's not going to be as strong as using an insertable vibrator.
I can already tell this is going to be a favourite, and I'm definitely going to be trying out more glass toys in the future. Highly recommended!

El Silicone G-Spot Dildo

Silicone just doesn't do it for me.

My favorite form of masturbation is thrusting with a dildo, and I don't understand why more of them don't come with a handle to make it easier to use. With a traditional dildo, it's difficult to get in a good position for thrusting, and it usually can't be kept up for long before the discomfort outweighs the pleasure.
That being said, the silicone texture makes a lot of friction, and I need to use a lot of lube to get going with it. I am finding it's not getting a lot of use because it requires more prep time and clean up time than some of my other toys.
The product itself is very well made, with no rough seams, and the shape that I liked very much. I hope LoveHoney will offer more dildos in a curved or L shape, in various lengths, girths, and finishes, because I'd probably try them all!

Lovehoney Erotic Rocket 2.0 10 Function Mini Vibrator

Many batteries gave their lives.

I've owned this toy for at least a year - maybe longer, I don't remember. I do remember it was on offer, and I tossed it into the basket as an impulse buy to go along with a more expensive purchase. It should tell you something that I don't even remember what the expensive purchase was, but I use this toy on a regular basis!
I really like how easy it is to use. The on/off twisty bit is separate from the push button that cycles through the vibration options, which I really like. When I'm done, I just twist it off - no fiddling with going through a bunch of choices before I get to 'off'.
It has a lot of patterns, which I enjoyed at first, but now that the novelty of that has worn off, I pretty much stick with the first three. I start with low, then up it to medium, and then high as my play session continues.
The main downside is that it's powered by a single AA battery. While that makes the size discreet and the batteries easy to replace, it also means that the battery fades out pretty quickly. Just make sure you have plenty on hand, and check the power before you start so you don't get your motor going without enough oomph to get you over the finish line.
Also you need to pay attention when cleaning it, as it's easy for gunk to catch around the tip. However, it's waterproof which means I just take it to the sink and give it a good scrub with a washcloth, and feel confident that it's clean for next time.
This is a phenomenal value for money, and I can't believe how long it's lasted! After over a year of regular use, the only noticeable wear is that the metal nubs are no longer shiny.

Yes Organic Water-Based Lube 25ml

No

I was very excited about ordering this product. I've been a bit sensitive down there lately, so I had hoped that switching to an organic lube would help. And then when I looked at the options, the beautiful bottle really stood out. I am disabled and need carers to come in a few times a week, and this is something that wouldn't embarrass me if it was accidentally left out on the nightstand.
Unfortunately, the product is a complete disappointment. A product so expensive should only require a tiny amount, but unfortunately it is simply not slippery enough to do the job. I need to use a lot more product than I would of basic K-Y to get an equivalent amount of lubrication.
It's not a complete loss, as I can refill the tiny little bottle with a more economical and better performing lube, but the bottle alone isn't worth the price. Save your money.

Whirling Spray Anal Douche

Soft and pliable my, um, ass?
I love anal play, and learned from Dan Savage that douching about an hour ahead of time is the best way to make sure no unpleasant surprises put a halt to proceedings.
I picked this douche because I thought the separate spray nozzle would make cleaning easier. However, that nozzle was, for me, too large to use without already getting relaxed and aroused. Since I wanted to be clean before the play started, and then leave time afterwards to make sure no water was left inside, this turned out to be impractical, and I only used the narrow nozzle. However, it can also be removed from the rubber bulb for cleaning.
The product description says the bulb is soft and pliable. Perhaps this product was designed with gay men in mind, and that someone with larger and stronger hands does find it soft and pliable. I found it stiff and very difficult to squeeze, especially while reaching behind or underneath to squeeze the bulb after insertion.
I tried different positions - over the toilet, kneeling in the tub, and it just didn't get easier. I could get maybe 1/4 of the water in the bulb squeezed out, and then I had to remove it and refill to avoid reverse suctioning. I need too many tries to feel that I have inserted enough water to be worth the effort, so it isn't getting much use. However, when I do use it, it does feel great later to be clean for anal play.
A no-return valve would help a lot, as would a softer bulb. Cleanup isn't very difficult, as the thin nozzle removes from the bulb, but I do worry a bit about bacteria inside the bulb as I can't completely avoid water going back into it.
On the whole, I can recommend it to someone with strong hands, or who is willing to have a partner help them. But if you regularly ask for help opening kitchen jars, you won't be able to use this on your own.
